“The Crusaders would like to thank the Minnesota Owls for releasing Don from his assistant coaching duties to join our team,” said Harry Urschel. With Babineau aboard, the Crusaders have their reorganization in place for accelerated player improvement. Hudson Hockey News Take Care of Your Rink! The Hudson Hockey Association is very fortunate to own and operate our own ice rinks. This benefits the members by assuring we get prime time practice and game slots hours. More importantly, it is the financial benefit that the members receive. We are not subject to a City Park and Rec department charging the Association for use of the facility. Organizations like Woodbury have to lease ice from the city of Woodbury or other communities at a cost between $150-$175 per hour. With the current team sizes and the average HHA skater scheduled for 55 hours of ice time, our ice rental in a city owned arena would exceed $700 per skater. We are very fortunate to own and operate the Hudson Civic Center . With this ownership comes the responsibility to take care of the Arena. A month ago there was a rock thrown through one of the glass doors in the Raider rink. The damage was not from an attempted break-in but simply kids in our association throwing rocks at each other. The cost to repair the door was $937.00. In order to maintain safety and minimize our operational expenses, we ask that each HHA member take pride in the ownership of our Civic Center . Treat the rink like it is your own home. •

Volunteer for Arena Support to keep the facility looking clean and well maintained.

Pick up after yourself. There are trash bins throughout the building...please use them.

Remind our youth skaters that the use of sticks, pucks and balls is limited to the ice surface only.

The rink is not a place for running, wheely shoes, or horseplay.

No one under the age of 16 should be in the mechanical or zamboni rooms.

No kids are allowed in the concession stand.

Please do your part to keep our rinks safe and well maintained for our youth skaters. It is your home away from home. Thank you, The HHA Arena Management Board
