MD40 Hydraulic Microdrilling Rig
MD40 Features MD40 is a purposely designed small micro drilling to work in confined spaces. The machine layout with separate power pack allows to change easily from electric motor drive to diesel engine and furthermore reduces the operating weight of the drilling unit to a minimum. Power pack and drilling unit are equipped with extendable rubber crawler chains in order to be able to pass standard doors of buildings and not to disturb pavements. As option steel plate crawler chains can be supplied. The telescopic mast system allows to use up 0,5 m - 2 m rods without modifications on the rig, it is even possible to fix the mast between ground and ceiling for perfect stability while drilling. A system of four hydraulically extendable stabilizers grants a safe stand of the rig. A wide range of rotary drives and top hammers to be applied make the MD40 a universal rig for indoor applications. Typical works are microdrilling, anchoring, injections and jet grouting.
