Indian Mills Home and School Association Indoor Soccer Tournament Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the IMMS Gymnasium On Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the IMMS Gymnasium the I.M.H.S.A. will be sponsoring the 10th annual Indoor Soccer Tournament. Last year’s tournament was a rousing success and we hope that even more students and families participate this year. During the tournament refreshments will be available to purchase in the cafeteria. All of the funds raised at the tournament will be donated to help fund the 6th grade environmental trip to Camp Ockanickon. The deadline to sign up for the tournament is Tuesday, November 28. Projected Tournament Schedule Anticipated Start Grade Level Anticipated Start Grade Level Time Games Time Games 9:15 – 10:15am 1st Grade 2:35 – 3:35 pm 5th Grade 10:35 am – 11:35 pm 2nd Grade 3:55 – 4:55 pm 6th Grade 11:55 – 12:55 pm 3rd Grade 5:15 - 6:15 pm 7th & 8th Grade 1:15 – 2:15 pm 4th Grade The Tournament schedule may be altered depending on the number of students who sign up.
Tournament Structure
No soccer experience required! For each grade level there will be a minitournament with four teams. Each student will play in two games. o Game 1: Team A vs. Team B o Game 2: Team C vs. Team D o Game 3: Consolation game (Losing teams from Games 1 & 2) o Game 4: Championship Game (Winning teams from Games 1 & 2)
Signing up and Creation of Teams
Game Structure
15 minute games. Substitutions will be made every 3 minutes. Ties will be broken via penalty kicks.
Students will complete the sign up form and turn it in to their homeroom teacher. Teams will be created after all of the sign up forms have been turned in. Teams will be announced in school on December 1, 2017. Each team will be told to wear a specific color t-shirt to the tournament.

If writing a check, please make it out to IMMS. The deadline to sign up for the tournament is Tuesday, November 28. All children attending / participating in the tournament must be accompanied by an adult. Teams will be announced in school on December 1. Remember – no soccer experience is needed to participate!
