If you have any questions, contact the UNSW Global Education Office at [email protected]. Step 1: Apply Apply directly to Study Abroad, by completing and sending an application downloaded from the UNSW International website. (Do not try to apply online on the UNSW Apply Online website as this system does not facilitate Study Abroad admissions). There is no application fee. Include transcripts and English language proficiency documentation if required. There are full instructions for this stage of the application on the application form. Step 2: Receive Offer Qualified Applicants will be issued with an Offer Letter, which will be accompanied by two forms that need to be completed and returned to the UNSW Global Education Office: the Acceptance Form and the SVP Checklist Form. Step 3: Accept Offer To accept your Offer, complete and sign the Acceptance Form that accompanies the Offer. Complete and sign the SVP Checklist Form. Note: if you are a Sponsored student, you will need to provide evidence of financial sponsorship, as described in the SVP Checklist Form, and also in more detail in the box below: Evidence of Financial Sponsorship: In most cases a Sponsoring Authority will automatically issue a Financial Guarantee Letter on their own letterhead to indicate their sponsorship support of a particular student and provide this to UNSW. For Study Abroad students, a Financial Guarantee Letter from their home university is also sufficient. UNSW always requires that a Financial Guarantee Letter, for each nominated student, is provided by the Sponsoring Authority (or home university) before admission to the Study Abroad Semester Program can be completed. There is a template guide to this letter as reference available on the UNSW International website: http://s3.amazonaws.com/media.international.unsw.edu.au/uploads/file/2011/06/30/Sponsored_ Students_Fact_Sheet__Final.pdf UNSW reserves the right to request additional financial documentation from students of any nationality, irrespective of that nation’s former or current DIAC (Department of Immigration & Citizenship) risk rating status. Step 4: Receive Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) The UNSW Global Education Office issues a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) to the Applicant. Step 5: Apply for Student Visa Applicant applies for a student visa as per the DIAC Streamlined Visa Process (SVP).
