Infusionsoft Helps Commercial Cleaning Company Increase Annual Revenue by 69 Percent
Background After hitting a financial rough patch almost 20 years ago, husband-and-wife duo Lisa and Hamish Macqueen turned Hamish’s part-time job into a fulltime business. They opened Cleancorp, a commercial cleaning company based in Sydney, Australia, and they never looked back.

Cleancorp was growing fast, and with that growth came several business challenges. For starters, they weren’t organized and didn’t have a reliable sales and marketing process to attract, convert and retain their customers. According to Lisa, “Things were slipping through the cracks.” Lisa and Hamish knew they needed to make some serious changes to scale their business and meet the needs of clients. So, they adopted a system they thought would help them do just that. Unfortunately, it didn’t. “It was clunky and not user friendly,” said Lisa. “It was just like a database; I’d put things in there and forget about them. It didn’t run anything — no auto-responders, nothing. It just wasn’t for me.”
Solution Lisa signed up for Infusionsoft after hearing about everything it could do. Following implementation, Cleancorp started sending emails to prospective and current customers from the Infusionsoft template library. “I couldn’t believe the results,” said Lisa. “People were calling us; we were closing more leads. All of a sudden, the business started to build energy.”
Results Energy wasn’t all they built: “We’re seeing growth every month,” said Lisa. “And that’s because we can engage with our prospects. Not everyone we speak to is ready to say ‘yes’ right away. Infusionsoft helps us keep a natural conversation going.” As a result of their successes, Lisa and Hamish have been able to spend less time at the office and more time with their three daughters. Since implementing Infusionsoft, they’ve hired 120 cleaners and eight administrative employees to serve clients in Australia and New Zealand. “Every single system and process within our organization is now ‘Infusionized,’” said Lisa. “We’ve automated everything, so now nothing slips through the cracks. We just couldn’t have done this without Infusionsoft.” In 2014, Lisa won the Infusionsoft Small Business ICON Award. Since then, she has started Creative Automation to teach entrepreneurs and small business owners how to use Infusionsoft to work smarter, not harder.
