Bourn & Koch Inc. was founded in 1975 by Larry Bourn and Loyd Koch to rebuild and retrofit Sundstrand machinery. Over the last four decades, we have grown into a manufacturer of quality machine tools for gear manufacturing, surface grinding, vertical grinding, gear shaping, vertical turning and horizontal boring. Our manufacturing plant in Rockford, Illinois has over 130,000 square feet of manufacturing space with high capacity cranes up to 35 tons, in-house machining capabilities, and a full CMM inspection department to support all that we do at Bourn & Koch.
