Click on the down arrow of the category and select the value you want. You may search by Region, State, Community, Median Household Income, Human Population, Community Intake, and Year. Here, we selected the Region of West:
Advanced Community Search: You have the ability to type a partial Community name to find the Community you want. To do so, click on the magnifying glass icon that shows up when you mouse just above the Community drop-down arrow:
It then becomes an editable box:

If you hover over the circles, a pop-up appears with some additional information about the Community:
Oftentimes, there are many Communities clustered near each other and it’s difficult to get to the circle for the Community you want. Using the “Zoom using the mouse” option will allow you to view a magnified section of the map. At the bottom of the page, there are 6 icons. Click on the arrow on the right and select “Zoom using the mouse”.
You can still hover over circles on the map, but when you click, the map will zoom in:
Once you’ve zoomed in as far as needed, go back down to the arrow icon and choose “Select using the mouse”:
Now you will be able to select a Community by clicking on their circle in the zoomed-in map. Note: The third option, “Pan using mouse”, is not applicable since all data points are visible on the default map. Page 3 of 6
