Star Shower Laser Lights

JVCS Executive Board Agenda, March 13
Reserve Your SDT Ticket Now
The JVCS Executive Board will meet on Monday, March 13, at 6:30. The secretary, treasurer, elemenarry principal, high school principal, development, and superintendent reports will be given. Agenda items include: Approve contract for assistant track coach, Tom Brantner, approve hot lunch seconds for March, discuss fall banquet and spiritual emphasis speakers for 2017-18, discuss and approve 2017-18 calendar.
The JVCS Stewardship Dinner Theater is planned for March 30, 31, & April 1. It is time to reserve your tickets for this very special event. You will enjoy a delicious roast beef dinner. Miles Mendel, school board treasurer, will give the stewardship presentation. An offering will be taken for the JVCS General Fund. The evening concludes with the presentation of Joseph. Mary Helen Wipf, director, says the show is for anyone: “Those who like Bible stories, people who enjoy a good chuckle, people who have seen God’s hand in their life, people who need hope to believe that God has control of their life.” Tickets for the event cost $40 and are advance sales only. Purchase online at jvcs.org or stop by JVCS to complete an order form and leave your payment. The goal is to raise $80,000 to assist with education costs.
Computer Monitors Available Acer V173 17” square monitors are available to anyone making a donation to the JVCS technology fund. The monitors were purchased in 2013, used in the elementary computer lab for one year, but have not been used since. They are like new. Please contact the school for more information.
Positions Available at JVCS
5-12 grade Band Instructor for 2017-18 Please contact Mr. Held at the school if you are interested in these positions.
Kitchen Leader There is a very real need for a kitchen leader at the dinner theater. This is not as scary as it sounds! We have a caterer to do the main meal and soup. The kitchen leader would take charge of the salad, dessert, and organize/lead volunteers the three days of the dinner theater. Please contact Gayle for more information.
Student Ministries Schedule Once again 9-12 grade students involved in student ministries are preparing programs. They will be performing April 9 at Bethel Church and April 23 at Bethesda Church with both programs beginning at 6:30.
SDT Needs: 2 sound technicians and 1 kitchen coordinator Please contact Gayle @ 352-7737 for more information.

We are looking to borrow: - wooden bowls of various sizes - jugs/urns - large wicker baskets - tapestry wall hangings If you have any of the items listed above or questions please contact Mary Helen Wipf at 605-350-3081.
Each morning a group of JVC staff members meets to pray. Please call the office to share with us any specific prayer concerns.
