Intramural All-University Point System DESCRIPTION: The All-University Point System is designed to encourage high participation, friendly competition, and good sportsmanship within the intramural program. Teams earn points based on participation and performance in each sport. The team that accumulates the most total points throughout the year in their division will be crowned the AllUniversity Champion. The divisions include: Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Fraternity, and Sorority. The Men’s and Women’s Open divisions refer to any non-Greek affiliated team. *The Res Hall Cup is currently a separate point system designed for those students living in the Res Halls.

GENERAL GUIDELINES: Intramural points will be awarded during both the Fall and Spring semesters. To be eligible, teams must use the SAME NAME throughout the year when registering for all activities. For individual/dual sports a minimum of 3 participants is required to accrue points (the team name must be referenced or no points will be earned). The number of points awarded to a team is based on the classification of the activity (Major, Minor and Individual/Dual). The overall champion in each division will be selected based on points accumulated throughout the academic year (Participation and Performance matter). An All-University champion will be declared in each of the divisions listed above. *All points will be lost if a team is dropped/forfeited from any league (major/minor).

AWARDS: All champions from each division will receive an exclusive All-University Champion t-shirt. The Men’s and Women’s Open champions will have their team names engraved on a plaque, which is permanently displayed in the University Sports Complex. The Fraternity and Sorority champions will receive an engraved trophy to display for the year until a new champion is crowned. *Intramural champion t-shirts will still be given out to champions in each individual sport. *Res Hall Cup champions will receive similar awards as per the Res Hall Cup guidelines.
