Topics to be presented include various issues challenging local government engineering personnel, Managers and Supervisors. An enjoyable social program supports the technical programme.

Technical Tour – Local engineering solutions including the Rum Distillery. Welcome BBQ – Café 1928, located in the beautiful Botanic Gardens in North Bundaberg. Night will include a tour of the Hinkler Hall of Aviation (also located within the Gardens) – buses will be available for pick up and drop-off from Bargara and Coral Cove. Conference – A full day of conference papers at the Bargara Cultural Centre, corner of Hughes Road and Watsons Road (next to Bundaberg Regional Council Bargara Service Centre). Conference Dinner – Bundaberg RSL, Quay Street, Bundaberg Central – buses will be available for pick up and drop-off from Bargara and Coral Cove. Golf – Enjoy a game on the Championship Course at Coral Cove.
While there is no formal partners program, accompanying persons are invited to attend the social program and a self-guided tour of what the Bundaberg Region has to offer is available at www.bundaberg.qld.gov.au. Bundaberg Regional Council has pleasure in extending a warm invitation to all persons with an interest in public works engineering to attend the Conference and assures all participants that their stay in the Bundaberg Region will be both productive and enjoyable.
