The month of January has been a very tough month for the Miners. With conference play starting this month, the Miners have been in many tough battles, already having experienced four overtimes in the month alone. The Miners split their last two games winning a nail biter to a very scrappy Florida Atlantic team 51-50 and then falling short 97-76 to a UTSA team with a 5-1 conference record. After being on the road three games straight the Miners will finally get to return to the Sun City this week. However, the road will not get any easier with a very talented Western Kentucky team entering the Don Haskins Center this Thursday January 26th. The Miners will then have a quick turn around and play a very competitive Marshall team Saturday January 28th. This week will be a very important week for the Miners and we are working hard to prepare!
