Jackson Little League General Meeting Minutes for April 8, 2014 Meeting Location – Cassville Firehouse, Jackson NJ Meeting Start Time – 8:00pm Meeting Attendees:

8:14pm Meeting Begins Al Goldberg – President Lead of with Pledge of Allegiance Discussed the Travel team policy. Provides update on scoreboards Provides update on the Lease/Township situation. Provides update on 50/70 o Only one field built at this time o An addition field at 527 could be built at a later date. Asks general membership if anyone has any issues with JLL purchasing new tarps approx. $2000 - $2500, no objections from the general membership. Jim Gehrsitz – Head Umpire Provides Umpire updates. Reminds everyone that bats are not allowed in dugouts. Reminds everyone there are no on deck batters in Little League. Reminds everyone that must be an adult in the field for all Minors and Majors games. Travis Starr - Buildings and Grounds Reminds everyone to rake field correctly after all games. Reminds everyone not to push water into the grass as this will damage grass lips. o He will look into a hand pump for grass fields. Reminds everyone to tarp Turf fields after all games. Carmelo Catanese – Safety Director Reminds everyone about the “No Swing” sign in each dugout. Reminds Managers and Coaches to contact either the Player Agent or himself for Lanyards ASAP. o No one allowed on fields without an up to date Lanyard. Evan Glaser – Equipment Manager Provides update on missing uniform pieces. Bill Schiazza - Majors Player Agent Provides update on the Minor division. Reminders Managers to send in pitch counts and scores after each game. Rob La Gravenis – Minors Player Agent Provides update on the Minor division. Discusses the success of the Malta clinic. Reminders Managers to send in pitch counts and scores after each game. Derek Wendell – AA Minor Player Agent Provides update on the AA-Minor division. Reminds everyone manager/coaches cannot warm-up pitchers. Joe Crotchfelt – T-Ball Player Agent Provides update on the T-Ball division. 9:16pm Meeting Adjourned
