JACKSONVILLE STATE VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMPS 2017 SERVING AND PASSING CLINIC Date: July 10th, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Cost: $40 per camper This camp is targeted at players who have the desire to improve on the two most important skills of the game; serving and passing. Campers can expect to touch hundreds of balls while learning basic Gamecock serving and passing moves such as standing serve, jump serve, and jump-float serve techniques, as well as ball control, freeball passing and serve-receive passing. SETTING CLINIC Date: July 11th, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Cost: $40 per camper Campers will improve their footwork, touch, power, location, tipping, and strategy through many technical drills they can practice long after their camp experience is finished. Whether you’re a beginning setter who has never played, a freshman starter, or a highly recruited varsity star, you will benefit from this unique camp designed specifically with the setter in mind. This camp is also great for nonsetters who need to get better at the setting skill itself. HITTING CLINIC Date: July 12th , 6:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m. Cost: $40 per camper Campers will learn proper arm-swing techniques, and approaches from the left, right and middle. Learn to see the block as you jump and decide to attack down the line, angle or seam. You’ll not only begin to hit harder, but smarter as well. DEVELOPMENTAL SKILLS CAMP Dates: July 27th-28th, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Cost: $100 per camper This camp is designed for younger athletes that are being introduced to the game, or the young beginner with little experience with the game of Volleyball. The focus will be on basic individual skills with an easy flowing teaching atmosphere. All campers will receive a Gamecock camp souvenir and participate in the end of camp Skills Competition. GENERAL SKILLS CAMP Dates: July 27th-28th, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Cost: $100 per camper This camp is designed for the high school or junior college volleyball player who is preparing for their upcoming season. We will focus on the fundamental skills of the game at the high school and college level. Sessions will be run similar to a college level practice environment. We will use competitive game situations for campers to gain high level experience. All campers will receive a Gamecock Camp souvenir and participate in the end of camp tournament. Please note: The developmental skills camp is intended for 8th grade or younger participants as the general skills camp is for 8th grade and above. The two hour night clinics are open to all ages.

JACKSONVILLE STATE VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMPS 2017 TEAM CAMP Dates: July 29th, ALL DAY Cost: $150 per team This will be a play date for both High School Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. All teams will be guaranteed a full day of play. There will be Referee’s and score keepers for each match. Coaches will get a chance to see their teams in action before the season starts.
