Call Committee Update Nominations for our new Pastor closed on November 30th. All the nomination forms (one) were forwarded to President Greg Walton. We are counting on President Walton adding MANY new names to the list. We do not expect to receive the list until the end of January or February. The Call Committee will meet on January 5th. At that time we will discuss the most important characteristics we are looking for in the new pastor. We will also discuss what questions we will ask of prospective candidates. Oh so young, this boy, this girl, Side by side, Hand in hand, Share a Dream…of promise yet to come. Still quite young, this boy, this girl, Side by side, Hand in hand, Set sail together…joined in hope as one. Not old nor young, this boy, this girl, Side by side, Hand in hand, Now with crew…steer through storm and sun. No longer young, this boy, this girl, Side by side, Hand in hand, Admire their wake…then God calls just one. Recalling when young, this boy, Now alone, broken and in tears, Sadly knows…a Dream once shared is done.
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say rejoice!" Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 We are about to welcome the year 2015! I want to sincerely thank the members of the Prayer Chain for their faithfulness in prayer, and all of the congregation for praying as well. I know many of you take the prayer lists on Sundays. May you have a blessed new year as we praise and honor our wonderful God - Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
