COVERAGE SELECTION To select coverage:
*All JB & Associates warranties are designed to complement factory warranties.*
1) Determine the type of unit being covered and find the appropriate section in the book. 2) Determine the unit's shortest factory parts coverage. Select the correct section by matching the unit’s shortest factory warranty with our “Factory Warranty Heading” 3) Determine the desired length of coverage and match with unit’s size 4) Select the JB&A item code (E.g. If the condensing unit has 10yr parts factory warranty and 5yr evaporator coil factory warranty, you would choose coverage under "Units With 5 year parts Factory Warranty".) *Thermostat (< or = $100) included with any complete system. *Compressors, heat exchangers, ECM/ variable speed motors and coils are covered for labor only, no parts mark-up.
PRICING INFORMATION
Pricing is for equipment within 2 years from start up. Expiration of coverage is calculated from start up date – 2 exceptions are for Existing Equipment – see below. All pricing covers parts and labor unless otherwise noted and is inclusive of the manufacture warranty. JB & Associates will not begin labor payment before the 91st day of receipt of payment to JB & A. No claims may be made prior to 91 days of receipt of payment. Coverage begins on the equipment start-up date and continues for the length of the agreement. Parts coverage begins on the 366th day unless extended by the manufacturer. Protection Plus Program™ : Parts mark-up begins on the 366th day. Compressors, heat exchangers, ECM/ variable speed
motors and coils are covered for labor only, no parts mark-up.
The Premium Protection Plan™ covers mechanical failure only and is not to be considered a maintenance agreement. Existing Equipment Programs: Premium Protection Plan™ offers two programs for existing installed equipment; Five year parts and labor and one year renewable agreements. Both plans require that the covered equipment be certified by the contractor and owner to be in good working order and that it has been properly maintained as to factory specifications and is free of all defects. Any manufacturer’s part warranty still in place must be utilized first. One year renewable plans may be sold on existing equipment up to 10 years of age. The agreement becomes effective on the 91st day after the application is paid and received by JB & A. No claims will be paid for work done prior to the date. The first time a renewable agreement is sold on existing units, coverage will be for the last nine months of the first year. Thereafter, each time the agreement is renewed there is no waiting period. Any renewal on existing commercial equipment requires an inspection and a certification report confirming proper unit maintenance. Sales of these programs can not exceed 25% of your total purchases. To market the Premium Protection Plan™ all contractors must complete and have approved a Dealer Service Agreement and agree to all terms.
All agreements are fully insured.
