Shuttle Driver Abbotsford Chrysler Part Time Monday- Wednesday 7:00am - 5:30pm Service
Position Summary: The Shuttle Driver picks up and delivers customers to their desired locations while customer’s vehicles are serviced. The shuttle driver may also be called upon for assistance relating to any transportation related functions.
Comply with Trotman Auto Group policies, along with local, provincial and federal laws including those governing the rules of the road, and health and safety Communicate effectively with Service staff and management to report any problems or delays Documenting trips, including names of passengers and destination or pick-up point Maintaining the shuttle vehicle’s appearance and notifying the Service Manager if the vehicle requires any servicing Greet all customers (physically and on the phone) in a timely and professional manner Assist in housekeeping of the service and customer lounge area, and parking lot Demonstrates the ability and willingness to get along with others at all times Maintains uniform standards Communicates with service management regarding customer feedback Communicate effectively with customers, team members and service/parts management regarding maintaining exceptional levels of customer service Remain abreast on all product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends Greet all customers within 10 feet and assist if requested Valet vehicles to assist Valet department when necessary Wash and vacuum customer vehicles to assist wash department when necessary Assist customers in offering beverages and/or seating when waiting on service assistance The ability to multi task and remain a director of first impressions whilst in a high volume, fast paced environment Demonstrate behaviours consistent with the company’s expectations and core values as it pertains to interactions with customers, colleagues and vendors Using good judgment and practicing safe driving skills at all times when operating Company property Adhere to road safety standards as set out by the Province of British Columbia Assist Service department as necessary Additional duties as requested by management
Qualifications: • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask • Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines • The ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions •Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract • Must be able to communicate (written and verbal) in English fluently • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
