Job Description – Risk Management Analyst MyC4, a Danish company, is seeking to hire two Risk Management Analysts to support the risk manager and CFO. Each Risk Management Analyst, one for East Africa, the other for West Africa, will be based locally and focus on supporting the tasks of audit, field visit, and general risk management of partner microfinance institutions. Each Analyst will be based in Africa, within the respective sub-regions, and expected to travel extensively to neighboring countries. The Job: Risk management support 1) Report to Risk Manager a. Participate in microfinance institution due diligence b. Participate in microfinance institution audits c. Conduct borrower field visits and spot checks d. Generate reports and evaluations to facilitate decisionmaking and follow-up planning 2) Coverage of geographic sub-regions, with audit and reporting responsibilities for all microfinance partners within region 3) Strategic and operational involvement a. Capacity to identify and communicate corrective action for partner institutions resulting from audits b. Capacity to work with microfinance management team to implement and follow-up on corrective actions c. Monitoring and reporting on partner capacity building initiatives

The ideal Candidate • At least 4 years of practical experience auditing Microfinance institutions and banks • Familiar with microfinance best practice and key performance indicators • Management experience preferred • Operational experience a strong advantage • Experience with client relationship management preferred • Proficiency in English and French required for West Africa position. Proficiency in English sufficient for East African position. • Extensive work experience in Africa • Able to travel extensively within sub-region (120 – 150 days/year) • Strong communication skills • Self motivated, comfortable working in entrepreneurial company
