JOHN DEERE 1990 DRILL SSTUBE INSTALL INSTALLATION GUIDE – 1990 DRILL W/ 9” FIRMING WHEEL PART #18168 FOR RIGHT – PART #18167 FOR LEFT - OR GXSSTJD9”LEFT & RIGHT (Read Instructions Completely before Beginning Installation)
Installation Steps: Before you begin, verify the “package contents” to ensure all items are included.
Step #1: Please note: AgXcel did not remove the wheel in making this install guide but will demonstrate using a display stand, how to mount and properly set your “over the wheel” stainless steel tube. Gather parts and tools necessary to instal the SS tube. Insert stainless teel spacer over wheel bearing.

Step #2: Remove the firming wheel (preferably with impact tool).
Step #3: Insert SS spacer over wheel bearing.
Step #4: Install correct SS Tube using your existing bolt and nut. Snug it down for now. Note: some models require installing a longer bolt about 1/2” longer than original.

Step #5: Install 3” of supplied clear anhydrous hose and #6 clamp.
Step #6: OPTIONAL: insert 1/4” poly tubing so that it protrudes approximatelly 2” from clear hose. Use a tie strap to strap the hose right at the beginning of the clear tubing to prevent it form backing out. Securely tighten down your SS tube so that it is in the 2 o’clock position for the RIGHT side and 11 o’clock for the LEFT. Refer to the first page for completed installation.
