John & Ronda Lennon Missionaries to Ecuador SPRING 2015
Dear Friends and Family, As we read the letters of the Apostle Paul in the Bible, we are encouraged to see how he interacts with those whom he had led to the Lord during his missionary travels. His second and third missionary journeys were filled with affection, instruction, exhortation, and encouragement as he visited with people very special to his heart. This past year John had the opportunity of traveling back to Paraguay and visiting the Iglesia Bautista Esperanza and the church leadership. He spent one week teaching the Synoptic Gospels at the church’s Bible Institute where 30 members of the church were studying God’s Word. He also was able to travel throughout Paraguay and speak in churches and visit former members of the Esperanza Church who are serving the Lord in distinctive places. It was a great joy to see the fruit of many years of ministry being replicated throughout Paraguay and beyond.

One of the legacies that we are most grateful for is that the complete leadership team of the Iglesia Bautista Esperanza have either been saved and discipled or have grown up in the church. Two of the deacons were children at the time we planted the church. Now they are married with their own families while preparing the next generation of children to serve the Lord. The church is now preparing to start a second daughter church. They have budgeted money for their ministry needs, purchase of property, and other expenses related to planting a church. The assistant pastor and his family are spearheading this project and looking forward to seeing what God will do for His honor and glory. Besides this new church planting project, there are 17 members of the church that will graduate from the Bible Institute this year and many are seeking God’s will for their lives as to future ministry either as pastors or missionaries. Thank you again for your many years of investment in our lives and ministry in both Paraguay and Ecuador. We look forward to sharing with you in the future what God continues to do here in Latin America. Love and prayers,
