The Bible Story Numbers 13:1–14:38
BIBLE STORY FOR TODDLERS God’s people reached the promised land. God told Moses to send 12 men to see what the land was like and if the people were strong. Moses also said to bring back some fruit. The men looked at the land. The land was very good. But 10 of the men gave a bad report! They were afraid of the people who lived there. Joshua and Caleb were not afraid. Caleb said, “God is with us! Don’t be afraid!” But the people would not listen. Because the people didn’t trust Him, God made them walk in the desert for 40 years. Only Joshua, Caleb, and the Israelite children would go into the promised land.
BABIES GOSPEL GEMS **Moses told 12 men to look at the promised land. **Joshua and Caleb trusted God to keep His promises. **God sent Jesus because He loves us.
