Superb Display by u-14 Hurlers INNISCARRA 4 - 22 COBH 1 - 2. In the Central 2 Fe 14 Hurling League at Ballyanly on Saturday Inniscarra had a comfortable win over Cobh. After a shaky start conceding an early goal from the throw-in Inniscarra took control. Two quick points by Frank Hogan and a goal from Owen McCarthy started the scoring followed by a long range point from Liam Ryan. Further points followed from Jamie O'Sullivan, Owen McCarthy and Frank Hogan following good work on each occasion by Darragh Hughes. In the 19th minute Dylan Church made a powerful run upfield and finished with a great goal and a minute later repeated the move for a point. Owen McCarthy had further points and a free from Liam Ryan left the score at half-time

A very good point from Eoin O'Herlihy followed by an equally good point from substitute Sean Sheehan kept the scoreboard ticking. Good defensive play by Mark Buckley and Bryan Linehan ended Cobh's challenge and powerful running by Dylan Church and Jamie O'Sullivan ended in goals in between a great point from Sean Geary.
