Going to Sugar (Kansas City Statler conference)? Looking forward to seeing you there - if you can't make it, visit Colorado the following week for classes here from Sharon Perry of New Zealand. She's coming to share her Statler and Creative Studio knowledge! Friday, June 26 - $75 per student, 25 students max Saturday, June 27 - $50 (observe only) Monday, June 29, - $75 per student, 25 students max Sockhop members both Friday and Monday sessions - $125 Bring your laptops with Creative Studio loaded (6.0 if possible), your electrical cord, and a hard wired mouse. There will be 3 fun days of classes: Friday, June 26 Point to Point Possibilities #1-3: Tantalizing Triangles; Sashes, Borders, Squares and more; and Builders, Point to Point Set Up, et al. Saturday, June 27 Sharon will present information about herself, her history, and her business to the Sockhop group. She'll also do presentations on Alphabets, Names and Words, the Apply Function, Trim and Fill (backgrounds) and have a Q&A session. Paid members of Sockhop are welcomed, the first 25 to RSVP will have table space to bring your laptops. Additional Sockhop members can observe. Registration is mandatory for this! Register via email Here. Non-Sockhop Members will observe only. NonMember Fee $50. Monday, June 29 Sharon will teach about Cross Hatching, Borders and Corners, and Designing Wholecloths.

Our June Class Schedule is on Our website Magic Pattern - Chloe Dress Jukebox Top Techniques Class Saturday, June 13 & June 20, 10am - 1pm Fee: $25 Skill Level: Beginner The breezy Chloe halter dress is perfect for those weekends spent out in the garden, but throw on a cardigan and it's also a great piece for the officeit's a chic look, but with plenty of movement and comfort. The Aline dress's halter neck band buttons on the side for ease, and the keyhold neckline in the contrasting front panel allows for just a hint of flirtatiousness! Supplies: Magic Pattern Book Pattern printed out and taped and cut out Materials list page 152 Sewing machine in good working order
Accuquilt GO! Club June Project Friday, June 19 - 1pm - 3pm Fee: $25 Year Skill Level: Beginner Please call the shop to register for Club In our June Club meeting we will make this cute table runner using Edyta Sitars' Simple Shapes and Dancing Umbrella dies. Please bring your quilted table runner top to class and we will cut the shapes and sew them onto the quilted top. All you'll have left to complete is the binding when you return home. Doesn't come any easier than that! Free pattern is available with purchase of the Dancing Umbrella die. Supplies: Fabric 1 (light fabric): 4 Fat Quarters Fabric 2 (blue, red, green, light green, brown and dark blue): 6 Fat Eights Binding: 1/3 yard Batting: 26 X 46 inches Backing: 2/3 yard (44 inch wide) Sewing machine in good working order Scissors/snips Coordinating or contrasting thread for appliqué Fabric glue stick (washable glue)
Art Quilt Workshop Thursday, June 25 - 10am - 4pm Fee: $60
Skill Level: Beginner Natalia will teach an improvisational technique to creating a stained glass looking quilt top. The piece will be approximately 16" x 30". Supplies: 1 yd Solid black fabric Assorted batiks, fat quarters and scraps: yellows, greens, blues, whites (variety of light tones for daisy petals) 1 yd Heat n Bond lite or other double sided light weight fusible Scissors Sharpie pen Iron and ironing board
