MESSAGE FROM ADMINISTRATION
Dear Cottle Parents: Once again the Cottle Community was treated to a fantastic concert! Congratulations to Mrs. Kim for a job well done and special thanks to Mr. Grasso who was accompanist during the show. The fourth and fifth grade chorus performed beautifully! We are excited that the Cottle Chorus will sing at Citifield next week on May 25th at 7PM. If you haven’t picked up your Mets tickets yet, please pick them up in the Main Office. Game day is fast approaching. All week long Cottle students have been enjoying the Cottle Circus during gym periods, especially our third graders! Third grade students participated in circus training all week getting ready to show-off for their parents during tonight’s Third Grade Circus show. Showtime is 6PM tonight in the gymnasium! On Monday, May 22nd, the Tuckahoe Schools will hold its annual Memorial Day ceremony to honor of our local veterans who served in the Armed Forces. If possible please have your child wear red, white and blue clothing this coming Monday. Again, please remember that due to school closures for snow, school will be in session on Friday, May 26. Get ready for the Buy One Get One Scholastic Book Fair. It will be held on May 30 through June 2nd in the Cottle Library. Please see below for the class schedule. Our annual spring book fair will be held May, 30th through June 2nd in the Cottle Library. We will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30AM until 3:00PM. We will be open from 8:30-11:30AM on Friday. Come stock up on summer reading! Buy one book at full price and get a book of lesser value free!

Bring the whole family for a day of food and fun at Cottle Field on Saturday, May 20th. There will be rides, games, food, raffles and more. Fun for all ages. Carnival tickets and food will be sold. Come and have a blast!
NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL, RE: EARLY PICK-UPS
Students being picked up early must have a written note from their parents/guardians or an email sent to their child’s homeroom teacher. If a note/email is not received, or if there is not a valid reason for the absence (example, doctor appointment, etc.), the child will be marked illegally absent.
TASC(2) SUMMER CAMP 2017 TASC(2) is a fully licensed summer program designed to provide appropriate supervision for school-aged children entering kindergarten through students entering 8th grade. Download the brochure: TASC 2 2017.pdf
2017 TUCKAHOE TIGERS YOUTH FOOTBALL GRADES 1 to 6 We will be offering 5/6 Tackle Football, 3/4
Tackle Football and 1/2 Flag Football programs this year. There is a participation fee per player of $300 for Tackle Football and $125 for Flag Football. READ MORE HERE: Tuckahoe Tigers

LOST AND FOUND Please check the PTA Lost & Found coat rack in our cafeteria. Children should
check the Lost & Found coat rack during lunchtime to see if anything belongs to them, and parents can visit the coat rack any day after school. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity mid June.
