Centers in small groups. We are working hard on writing our names, scissor cutting skills, and learning about our 5 senses in the world around us. Mrs. Povemba & Ms. Wiley

Reading Writing Math Science
Social Studies
• Readers Identity • Book Mats • Listened to a book on tape during ELA center time We are all writers! • Fundations Writing Grid (sky line, plane line, grass line, worm line) • “t” formation and sound • Name Practice- upper case in the beginning followed by lowercase letters Math Centers • Matching numerals to corresponding ten frame dot cards • “Roll and Fill”- Roll a dice and fill in with objects on a five frame mat • Number Writing- 1 to 5 • “Spin and Fill”- Students used the SMART Board spinner to spin and fill in a five frame • 5 Senses • We read, I Like Myself, by Karen Beaumont • We created self-portraits by adding descriptive details that make each one of us unique! • House Glyphs-Who’s in your family?
