Kiwanis Camp Work Day Items We will meet at 8 am on Saturday April 7 (weather permitting) and try to finish up by noon. The more help we have, the quicker it gets done. If we don’t complete everything or if it is raining, we will try it again on Saturday April 14 at 8 am. Be thinking about what you would like to help with, and come equipped with proper tools or work items. Thanks for your help with this worthy project. We always need to have some pride in our campgrounds. 1) Cut up large limbs, pick up small limbs – chain saws, tractor loader, trailer 2) Burn or haul brush pile by conf center to back on a trailer – trailer, tractor loader 3) Haul any broken tables to back – truck beds or trailer 4) Check tables for broken boards and bolt tightening - wrenches 5) Pressure wash lodge and conf center 6) Clean exterior (walls, soffits, glass) of both buildings – bleach, brooms, water hose, etc. 7) Work stone on road – tractor, box blade 8) Clean out gutters on CC bldg – ladder 9) Clean grounds around both buildings – blower, rakes 10) Shovel up remaining pea gravel and place in lake around fishing areas 11) Clean our directional signs with a bleach / water mixture and wipe down. 12) Pesticide ant beds around buildings (poison). 13) Cut limbs and/or trees at front gate and entry sign. 14) Check out basketball goals (?) 15) Repair front gate 16) Repair front fence near gate – add barbed wire. Have roll in storage room but will need heavy wire cutters.
