utilize technology in almost every field of study. At KISD we are taking the necessary steps to include positive and effective use of technology in the classrooms. There will be growing pains, but with community help and input, we will provide a better future for our young ones in Kountze ISD.
Our Future Looks Bright Believe it or not, we are working on the last six weeks of the school year. This past year offered a lot of exciting moments and some bright ideas for the future of KISD. One of the biggest accomplishments was adopting a Chromebook program that will provide a device to every student in our district. We will be working with staff over the summer to offer training and ideas for transitioning to a digital classroom. It is no secret that college courses and the future workforce will be required to
KMS Graduation Schedule! Our Kountze Middle School 8th grade graduation program will take place in the Lion’s Den on May 25th at 9 AM. We encourage family members to arrive 15-20 minutes early in order to get a
good seat and allow time to find the best spot for pictures. We will also have the 7th grade awards program on the 25th at 12 PM in the Lion’s Den. For this program, we again encourage family members to arrive 15-20 minutes early in order to find a good seat. We cannot believe that the 201617 school year is already ending! This was a very special and successful school year. We want to thank all of the parents and community members that made this a fantastic and memorable year. May the future classes and programs be just as successful as what we experienced this past school year. On behalf of the KMS family, we want to thank everyone who helped our kids learn and grow during the 201617 school year and encourage everyone to have a safe and relaxing summertime break.
