Your child will go to the library on Mondays and Thursdays. They will check out books to take home to read. Please read the book with your child and record the title on the reading log located in the M.O.O.S.E folder. The goal for the 1st 9wks is 15 books by October 11th.

Upcoming events: August 21st- Picture Day-Everyone will have their picture taken for the yearbook. Labor Day…No school Monday, September 2nd Sept. 4th-PAWS meeting Sept.19th & 24th Parent/Teacher conferences-we will be sending appointment times at a later date.
In Math we will be… identifying and naming shapes (circle, square, rectangle, diamond, oval, triangle, heart, trapezoid, hexagon). In Reading we will… learn allie alligator and bubba bear’s letter name and sound. learn the sight words a and I. Just a reminder: We will be swimming on Friday, August rd 23 . It would be a great help for the boys to wear their swim trunks. Girls that have 2 piece suits can wear them under their clothes. Girls with one piece can change before we go. Be sure to send or wear flip flops or shoes that are easy to put on. And send a towel as well.
