Safety Equipment • Fire Blanket – Front of room- in red canister. • Fire Extinguisher – front of classroom, in white container. Covered with Mrs. Lane’s pictures.
• Safety Shower – front of classroom. • Eye Wash Station - front of classroom. • Goggles cabinet- back of room on the west wall.
Lab Procedures 1. Be prepared, organized, and mature. 2. Keep all work areas clean, neat, and organized. 3. Wash hands after all labs that use any type of chemical. 4. Wash all glassware and lab equipment and hang to dry on drying rack. 5. Put all lab materials back to where you found them.
More Lab Procedures 6. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES. 7. Put away any DRY glassware if drying rack is full! 8. All group members must participate when working in groups or teams. 9. All names should be placed on lab assignments. 10. There will be a quiz over this information!!
