The season kicked off this weekend with a multitude of games at all levels and despite only a week of outdoor practice, there was tremendous success. From U15 Coach Pat Rodgers: GAME RESULTS U9 VS. JR. LYONS U11 VS. BARTLETT U11 VS. GLENVIEW U11 VS. JR LYONS U13 VS. GLENVIEW U13 VS. BARRINGTON U13 VS FOX VALLEY U15 VS. GLENVIEW

Our first game of the season started and ended very strong. Lake Forest led 4 to 0 in the first three minutes of the game. Ball control, patience, and off ball movement were the story of the game. Our boys played very very well. The 4th quarter was a testament to our teams class as well as stick skills. Final score was 14-2 with incredible effort from every member of the
team. Our middies were short handed today but that did not stop them from playing their hearts out. A special shout out to two of our new additions to the team Drew Foley and Owen Clarke. Both boys hit the ground running this season and have made an immediate impact. One final reminder there should be no parents on the bench or speaking to athletes on either team.
EACH WEEK THE COACHES WILL NOMINATE 3 PLAYERS FROM EACH TEAM THAT EXEMPLIFY OUTSTANDING EFFORT AND LEADERSHIP IN THEIR POSITION
LFLA STARS OF THE WEEK U9 DEFENSIVE: Ben Johnson - ground ball machine. OFFENSIVE: Dennis Hickey - assist award and great stick skills EFFORT:Mason Swain - made a last second save to secure the victory and was solid all day.
U11 DEFENSIVE: Izzy Rube & Anthony Reinhardt - goalies OFFENSIVE: Connor DiTomasso & Connor Armstrong EFFORT: Brooks Bahr U13 DEFENSIVE: The Defense - Gave up only 6 goals in their first two games. OFFENSIVE: Sean Curran EFFORT: Andrew St. Amand U15 DEFENSIVE: Blake Ulmer OFFENSIVE: Drew Foley - amazing effort and hustle. Up and down the field.
EFFORT: Owen Clarke - great effort first ever lacrosse game.
