Lake Samm Lacrosse Board Meeting Minutes of Meeting on Jan 30th Redmond Marriott Present: Allison Grassi (president), Heather Cramer, Mike Garofano, Nicole Bayly Absent: Jordan Bayly, Cathie Frizalone, James Smith, Melanie Kanz, Tom Chirichigno,
General Business WSLA Mini-Convention Recap New adopted rules update President Allison and Nicole inventoried storage unit assessing gear/equipment needs. Club will need to order some new goalie gear, nets and maybe goals. Meet the Coaches night prep. Old spirit wear for sale, hoping to have examples of new spirit wear available. High School coaches will be there to introduce themselves. Club will have extra forms for parents to fill out. Finances Cathie will forward Jan. treasurer report in early Feb. Statements and tax returns are available to members upon request. High School Teams Board in agreement to proceed with all three high school teams, running Varsity teams lean and calling up JV players when necessary. Mike and Jordan still looking for JV head coach to work with Coach Kentucky. Looking into Kirkland Lacrosse Club field for final game, East vs. West HS, Redmond High wasn’t available. Youth Teams James successful in securing 5/6 practice locations at Emily Dickinson elementary and fields for 3/4 on the plateau. Jordyn and Nicole to run Youth Coach’s clinic on Sunday Feb. 26th at Evergreen Middle. Honor the Game pins to continue. Nicole will address how coaches can best utilize this program during coaches meeting and coach clinic. Needs: Board positions: Fundraising and Equipment Manager Recruit at least one new adult umpire Teens for lining fields during season Communications/PR Registrar in Training UP Next Meet the Coaches Night Feb. 7th 7-9 (Coaches arrive for 6pm meeting) Youth Coaches Clinic Feb. 26th Evergreen Middle 9-11am Board Meeting March 7th 7:00-9:00 PM, Marriott
