LAKOTA WEST THUNDERBIRD BASKETBALL NIGHT – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15 Lakota West High School – 7:30 pm On Friday, December 15 the Lakota Thunderbird organization is being recognized at the Lakota West vs Sycamore boys varsity basketball game. This is a fantastic opportunity for your son or daughter to participate in this year’s LAKOTA WEST THUNDERBIRD BASKETBALL NIGHT! By attending this celebration, your kids get to watch live basketball (hopefully a learning experience) and get to be recognized as being part of the Thunderbirds. This is our 30th year supporting the Lakota community, and you and your kids are the reason our program is so successful. Come celebrate with us! This year we will hold our Lakota Thunderbird Night at the 12/15 West game vs Sycamore. Here are the details on the event: Arrive by 7pm to the game Players MUST wear their Thunderbird Jersey so that they can get in free to the game Other members of the family and friends need to pay at the gate We will have a reserved area for the Thunderbird players to sit together Ideally your player would sit with their team Please do not let the kids run around the gym, we need them to go to the assigned sitting area If a younger player needs a parent to sit with them, that would be ok. We’d like to keep all the kids together as a group. The kids will be recognized during the Varsity half time, we plan to coordinate the kids in the Aux gym at the end of the 1st quarter We will have coordinators working with coaches and kids to direct them to where they need to go After the half time recognition kids will be asked to go back to the aux gym They will receive a food coupon allowing them to get a hotdog and water for $2 Please let your coaches know you plan on attending This is a great opportunity for the kids to see a High School game (dream forward!) and get recognized for the hard work that they have put in this season! We want to get as many kids and coaches to the game. Please send me any questions that you might have. Thanks for all that you are doing for the kids!! For more information, contact Ron Beerman at
