Special Guest Speaker & Island Host
LARRY MEYER
My mission is to offer my experience and knowledge as a successful entrepreneur as a template for others looking to achieve success. Larry is the founder and CEO of Palleton, Inc. In 1980, Larry was unexpectedly laid off from Union Pacific Railroad. With only $850.00 in savings and a family to feed, Larry bought a pickup truck, a hammer, nails, and 100 broken pallets. Larry’s hard work, diligence, and financial acumen has paid off. Palleton, Inc. has seven facilities in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas, a saw mill with over 15 Million in annual sales, and is in the developmental stages of a new facility in Arkansas. The business had been running just as it was setup originally when it was founded 33 years ago. With his daughter, Lacy, now running the business and with Business Coach Chuck Bauer’s recommendations, the company is continuing to grow and increase profitability.
