Loyola Law School - November 9, 2013 “Earning this merit badge enables a Scout to learn about the history and kinds of laws, the purpose and methods of law enforcement, consumer protection agencies, emerging law, and careers in the legal profession.” - Law Merit Badge Handbook Thanks to the generous support of the Legal Eagles, the Los Angeles Area Council will be holding its first annual “Law Merit Badge Day.” Scouts will meet lawyers and judges, learn about civil and criminal law, and participate in a mock trial. All requirements for Law merit badge will be completed at this event!
Limited number of spaces (100) available. Scouts must be in high school in order to sign up. $5 Sign up fee (includes lunch). Sign-up begins October 1st at the Council website www.boyscoutsla.org.
