On July 29, after a seven-day clim b, A rthur C ollins, Lew H ardy, Steven Sands, Philip Solt, Peter Stapely and Paul Vardon reached the sum m it o f Lawa Brakk or Snow Lake Peak (6590 m eters, 21,621 feet). T hey clim bed the w est ridge. A 6000-m eter peak at the head o f the glacier south o f C ornice Peak was clim bed on July 29 by M ark D eith, John W akefield and Tony W alkenden.
