Refugees and Vulnerable Localities As the Syrian conflict enters its seventh year, the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon remains one of the world’s worst. Syrian refugees comprise approximately one fifth of Lebanon’s population which, Aakkâr Trablous combined with 450,000 registered Palestinian refugees, Aakkâr Tripoli represents the highest Miniyéper-capita refugee population Danniyé Hermel in the world. The 1,011,366 Zgharta registered Syrian refugees Koura Liban-Nord and as many, if not more, Bécharré Baalbekvulnerable Lebanese Batroun Hermel present a complex Jbayl challenge for the Baalbek government and humanitarian Kesrouane Baalbek community.
