Italy Migrant flows to Italy are keeping pace with 2015 rates and spiking with good weather. Many arrivals to Italy are deemed economic migrants and most asylum applications lodged in Italy are rejected, while orders of departure are not regularly enforced. Greece A few hundred migrants and asylum seekers arrive weekly in Greece, where current capacity can shelter about 45,700 of the 52,500 residing there. Several camp sites fail to meet humanitarian standards and reportedly lack basic services, including potable water, toilets, and electricity.
