Italy Migrant flows to Italy are keeping pace with 2015 rates and spiking with good weather. Many arrivals to Italy are deemed economic migrants and most asylum applications lodged in Italy are rejected, while orders of departure are not regularly enforced. Many granted legal refugee status still struggle to find adequate work and housing. 47,820 total arrivals to Italy in 2016 (as of June 1) Nigeria 7,173
