25 August 2016 PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES EVENING The Headteacher and the Staff of Oathall Community College request the pleasure of your company in the hall at 7.30 pm on Wednesday, 9 November 2016 for the presentation of your examination certificates. The main part of the ceremony is similar to an Achievement Assembly. You will be called up to the platform to receive your certificates from our Guest Speaker. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the dining room. The dress code for the evening is “smart casual”. No tickets are issued for this event, but enough seats will be set in the hall to accommodate guests who have booked using the slip below. Would you please return the slip below or e-mail Mrs Aldridge by 4 November indicating the total number of seats required by you and your guests. Unfortunately we must restrict the number to 3 (including student) because of the constraints of the Fire Regulations currently in force. If the reply slip is not returned, then your certificate will not be presented to you. If you are unable to be present at this ceremony then you may collect your certificates from the College reception after 10 November. If you are unable to collect them yourself, then a letter of authorisation must be given to the person collecting them on your behalf. Please note that we are legally obliged to retain uncollected Certificates for a period of 12 months, after which they may be securely destroyed. Examination Boards will only replace a certificate which has been lost or damaged in fire/flood or has been stolen and this will incur a fee for each Certificate. We therefore urge you to obtain your Certificates promptly. We very much look forward to seeing you again.
Mr E Rodriguez Headteacher Coursework DT coursework will be available from 3.15pm to 5.00pm on Thursday 24 November 2016 in Room 29. Art and Photography coursework will be available from 3:15pm to 4:10pm on Tuesday 22 November 2016 in Room 33. If you are unable to collect coursework yourself, a letter of authorisation must be given to the person collecting it on your behalf. Every year we receive enquiries from parents of our Year 11 leavers expressing the wish to give a donation, or token of their appreciation to the college as acknowledgment of what the college has done for their child. Some of these past gifts will, no doubt, have helped your son or daughter. We greatly appreciate all such donations.
