CENTERVILLE “HUSTLE” BASKETBALL CLUB TRYOUTS: BOYS AND GIRLS 2015 SELECT TEAMS--GRADES: 3 thru 6 http://www.centervillehustle.org The primary mission of the HUSTLE is to teach solid basic and advanced basketball skills to our players while instilling in them an appreciation of hard work, teamwork and good sportsmanship.
Select teams will play a game schedule of between 20-40 games set appropriately for their age level (i.e. younger grades will play fewer games and older grades will play more). Each team’s schedule will include some combination of participation in league and tournament play including: The Dayton Metro League and/or other area leagues as well as various invitational, holiday and league tournaments. The select season will begin with team practice starting mid to late October. Teams will normally practice twice per week throughout the season. The season will conclude for most teams with the Dayton Metro end-of-year tournament in early March. Players are strongly encouraged to attend as many tryout sessions as possible in order to have the best opportunity of being selected for a team. Parents are required to pre-register players online by visiting the club website at: www.centervillehustle.org ELIGIBILITY – Players must reside in Centerville-Washington Township and go to school at one of the following: Tower Heights, Watts, Magsig, Stingley, Driscoll, Cline, John Hole, Weller, Normandy, Spring Valley Academy, Dayton Christian, or Miami Valley School.
