Meet the coaching staff! Calling All Cheerleaders! The Mooresville High School Cheerleading Program is hosting its annual one‐week mini‐camp for all elementary school children (K‐6) interested in learning more about cheerleading.
This year’s camp will take place Monday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 11, with a camp finale on Thursday, June 12. All activities will take place at Northwood Elementary. Camp will begin promptly at 10am, and will end at 11:30am, Monday through Wednesday. The finale performance will begin at 10am on Thursday and end once all material has been presented to parents, friends, and family.
KATIE TUTTERROW is the Varsity Coach at Mooresville High School. This is her sixth year coaching, and her fifth year at MHS. She is a Mooresville High School graduate where she cheered 3 years on the Varsity Football & Basketball squads. She graduated from Ball State in 2009 after studying Interior Design. HEATHER KOVAL is the Junior Varsity Coach at Mooresville High School. This is Heather’s fourth year coaching at MHS, and she has previous experience as a gymnastics coach during her collegiate years at IU Bloomington. Coach Heather is also an alumnus of MHS and was a Varsity cheerleader during her time there. She graduated from IU with a degree in elementary education and is nd currently a 2 grade teacher in the Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation. HOLLI GOODMAN is the Freshman Coach at Mooresville High School. This is her third year coaching at MHS and she is loving the experience! Coach Holli works at Paul Hadley Middle School and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three amazing children.

Your child will learn cheer motions, jumps, and basic stunts, along with a cheer, dance, and a couple of chants. For your child’s safety, he or she needs to wear tennis shoes. NO SANDALS, BOOTS, OR DRESS SHOES. Also, it is preferred that your child wears athletic shorts and a t‐shirt. Skirts or dresses are not appropriate.
The cost for the week of camp is $40 and can be paid with cash or check. All checks should be made out to Mooresville Cheerleading. You may pre‐register your child for this event by sending the coaches an email, at
[email protected], with all of the information on the registration sheet – see the left column of this page – included. (Money will be due the first day of camp.) PRE‐ REGISTRATION INFORMATION IS DUE NO LATER THAN JUNE 2. If you choose not to preregister, you may arrive early the first day of camp, beginning at 9:15am, and register your child; however there will be a fee of $5 assessed for any late registrations.
For attending the mini‐camp, your child will also receive a t‐shirt that matches one of our high school cheerleading shirts! They will have these shirts in time to wear on the finale day and will look just like our MHS Varsity, JV, and Freshman cheerleaders! Questions or concerns?
