Longmu Bay International Resort City Phase 1
SWA’s master plan for this resort city integrated and expanded earlier studies’ focus on ecological, sustainable, and aesthetic principles. The design integrates open space, circulation, waterway design, and building developments while also creating a connection to the site’s history and culture. The overall objective of the master plan was to create a unique resort character of the highest design quality, integrating multiple goals towards ecological, sustainable, and aesthetic design principles. Phase 1 of the project, approximately 70 hectares, includes seven kilometers of coast line, a beachfront promenade, a navigable canal system, landscaped streetscapes, several hotels and condominium apartments, villa suites, island pools, spas, off-shore man-made islands, resort hotels, retail shopping areas, and a golf course.
