LOST CHILDREN POLICY In The Sue Hedley Nursery School every precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of the children. Staff will be aware of procedures re: - arrivals and departures. Parents will also be made aware of these procedures at their induction meeting with staff. Within the nursery we have security precautions, which ensure that children will not be able to have access to outside areas without an adult being present. If a child is lost in the nursery or while on an outing staff will follow the lost child procedures and an incident sheet will be completed and parents will be informed immediately. The Head Teacher will investigate the incident and will take appropriate action.
