MacMillan Coffee Morning 30th September 2016

MacMillan Coffee Morning 30th September 2016 Dear Parents/Carers We will be holding a fund raising event in aid of MacMillan who are a charity helping people facing cancer. The children can come to school dressed as their favourite superhero – we are asking for a donation of cakes which will then be sold during morning break in each class. Cakes will be 50p each and the children can bring in their money if they wish to buy one (there will be a limit of 2 cakes/£1.00 per child). You are invited to come into school for a coffee morning at 9.15am in the KS2 hall where you can have a drink, a cake and a chat – any extra donations of cakes for this would be greatly appreciated. MacMillan have been arranging coffee mornings since 1990 and have raised an amazing £138 million in this time. I am sure you will agree that this is a very worthwhile cause and will join with us in raising as much money as possible to help fund the essential work which they do.
