Message from the Principal: Student dismissal starts at 2:55 each afternoon. If your child has not been picked up by 3:30 they will be sent to the Magnet Cove Elementary After School Care Program and you will be charged the daily rate of $10.

You are invited to Thanksgiving Lunch Thursday, November 16, 2017 Lunch Times: PK-K 10:30-11:00, 1-2 11:05-11:35, 3-4 11:40-12:10 Meal Price: $3.55 (please bring exact amount) Please RSVP by Wednesday, November 8. Invitation forms were sent home with each student. Invitations are also on the district website under the elementary cafeteria tab.
PE NEWS: The weather is getting colder, but remember your child has PE on two days each week. They still need to wear tennis shoes and not boots on those days. If you aren't sure what days your child has PE, check my web page on the school website. Anyone interested in doing the PE dance to "Can't Stop the Feeling" at the Sr. Girl's halftime on November 20th needs to send a note, email ([email protected]), or text to Mrs. Penny. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________
NEWS FROM YOUR PARENT CENTER Parent Tip: When it comes to discipline, remember that you can turn back the clock. If you relax a boundary and your child doesn't respond positively, you can always return to the way things were. Don't think of it as a failure. Simply explain to your child that you tried new rules but they didn't seem to work well so you will have to go back to the old rules. You can always try the new rules again in a few months.

Mom - you are invited to come to school on Wednesday,
December 20th from 8:15 - 10:15 and read a book with your child. Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria.

Please take the time to read the enclosed information. Students that have a parent go on-line to enter will get a prize next week. Thanks!
