Margate Youth Basketball League Dear City of Margate Basketball League Parents, Welcome to another exciting basketball season! Our goal is to continually provide a fun, healthy and progressive learning atmosphere where all players can achieve their desired basketball goals. We take pride in our basketball program and the opportunities that is presents to teach our youth about good sportsmanship. Please help us to maintain the high level of excellence that we have grown to expect from our coaches, our parents, and our players.
Player Evaluations & Draft Evaluation day gives us the opportunity to rate each player based on skill level, which in return enables us provide balance to the teams. For this reason, all participants are required to attend. Evaluations are held at Firefighters Park, 2500 Rock Island Road. In an attempt to avoid large numbers of players attending at one time, we have tried to split up the groups by last name. Please do everythng you can to attend your specified evaluation date/time listed below:

The Parks & Recreation Department works to maintain parity in all of its leagues, therefore the request for coaches and/or request for pairings with other players will not be granted, except in the case of siblings playing in the same division. Coaches will be on hand at evaluations to view and rate each player and teams will be formed via a draft at its conclusion.
