MASON HIGH SCHOOL BOYS LACROSSE BOOSTER MEETING Monday, September 14, 2015 Call To Order: Mike Krell June minutes approved
Treasurers Report: Rhonda Peischl •We have sold a few of the remaining Buddy Cards. Rhonda Peischl posted the info on Facebook a number of people have shared the post. We have gotten sales from this as well as through word of mouth. We will also have Buddy Cards available for sale at the football games during doughnut sales. •The proposed budget for the 2015-2016 is still being reviewed and updated. As planning for the upcoming season continues, adjustments will be made accordingly. •Options for new warm-ups and bags for the upcoming season are being reviewed. The committee is looking at various options along with costs.
Spirit Wear We will be offering spirit wear for sale during November and again in the spring. Watch you email for details.
Mason 7 v 7 Fall Tournament - Cancelled The 7 v 7 Fall Tournament has been cancelled. There were not enough high school teams available to play that weekend.
Fall Tournaments Please see the email from Coach Limpert regarding fall tournaments: -October 25 - Elite 8 at Olentangy - 1 varsity and 1 JV team will participate. -November 8 - Moeller Turkey Shoot Out Please let Coach Limpert know by September 25 if you plan to play in either or both of these tournaments.
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sales Thanks to everyone who helped with the doughnut sales at last Friday's game and to everyone who purchased a box (or two). We made $787!! We will be selling doughnuts again on the following dates: October 10 - Homecoming October 16 October 30 Be sure to look for the next Sign-Up Genius invitation and volunteer.
Mason Bicentennial MHS Boys Lacrosse photo booth at the Mason Bicentennial made $550! Thanks to the volunteers who worked at the booth.
Player Packs Options for Player Packs are still being reviewed.
Spring Preview The Spring Preview for the varsity team will be held on March 12. We will need volunteers to be on the organizing committee.
Kroger Cards Be sure your Kroger card is registered in support of Mason High School Boys Lacrosse. This is an easy way to raise funds and support the team. Instructions for registering your card can be found on the home page of www.masonlacrosse.com
Committee Openings There are a number of committees and volunteer opportunities that will be available through the year. We will send out an email outlining the various positions that are open. Please consider volunteering.
Dine and Donate We are working with a number of restaurants in the area to host Mason Boy's Lacrosse nights where a percentage of the proceeds from that evening will be donated to the team. The first one will be held this coming Monday at Panda Express: Monday, September 28, 2015 – Panda Express on Mason Montgomery - 5:30-8:30pm The following are tentative dates: Monday, October 12, 2015 – Chick Fil-A on Mason Montgomery - 4:00-8:00pm Monday, November 16, 2015 – Chipotle at Voice of America – 4:30-8:30pm Monday, December 7, 2015 – BD Mongolian on Mason Montgomery – 6-9pm YOUTH & HS NIGHT Monday, January 11, 2016 – Blaze Pizza on Mason Monday, February, 29, 2016 - City Tuesday, March, 8, 2016 – Aponte’s Pizza April TBD 2016 - BW3- Tylersville Rd TBD Thursday, May 5, 2016 – Menchies on Tylersville Rd
