MASON LAKE ROAD RACES
Date: Sunday - March 6, 13 & 20 - three day race series. Location: Mason Lake - Near Shelton, WA (See Directions Below). Course: 12 mile loop around Mason Lake. No major climbs – rolling terrain. Costs: $30 pre-reg. or $40 day of race. (includes 9.5% sales tax). Register Online at www.usacycling.org or day of race if field limits have not been reached. USAC license required to race. One day license for category 5 men and 4 women is $10 and available at the race. To race in all other categories you must have an USAC annual license ($70) which can be purchased at www.usacycling.org only (not for sale at the race). Series Points: Awarded to the top 10 riders in each race (15,12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1) - Prizes for series winners only. Prizes: Are cash and merchandise paid out to series winners after last race. Cash split for top 3 overall in series is 1st- 50%, 2nd - 30%, 3rd-20%. Race Day: Registration/Parking will be located at the start at the Mason Lake County Park. WSBA #'s: WSBA numbers will be used and can be purchased with your USAC license (not for sale at the race). Rental numbers available at the race for a $10 rental fee (of which $5 is refundable). For out-of-state riders there is no fee to rent a number just a $5 deposit. Bib numbers will go on your RIGHT side. No warming up or down on the course!

DIRECTIONS
Start at Mason Lake County Park. From I-5 North or South in Tacoma take the Bremerton exit (Hwy 16). Follow this until you get to Gorst and take Hwy 3 to Belfair. Go through Belfair and take Hwy. 106 towards Union and Twanoh St. Park on Hood Canal. From this turn go 4.3 miles and take a left on E.Trails Rd. - Mason Lake County Park. (If you get to Twanoh St. Park you missed the turn!!). Go up the hill and follow this road staying to the right for 3.2 miles. At this intersection take a right - you are now on the course - parking and registration are 1/2 mile ahead. Cell phone reception is spotty in this area. Note: From Olympia take Hwy 101 to Shelton then Hwy 3 just past Bayshore Golf Course and take a left up the hill heading towards Lake Limerick. Stay on this road until it intersects the course at the south end of the lake. Follow the brown signs to Mason Lake County Park at the north end of the lake.
