GENERAL INFORMATION TOMAHAWK II is an organic acidulant and buffering agent for lowering the pH of spray tank water. This formulation does not use corrosive mineral acids and therefore is safe to use in spray equipment. TOMAHAWK II does not contain heavy metals that may inactivate companion pesticides. Use of TOMAHAWK II reduces pesticide degradation caused by alkaline hydrolysis. It should always be added to the spray tank while agitating, but BEFORE the addition of any pesticides. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Read and follow the precautions, restrictions and recommendations of the labels of pesticides used with TOMAHAWK II. Use according to the most restrictive label directions for each prod uct in any tank mix. A range of 1 to 3 pints of TOMAHAWK II per 100 gallons of finished spray solution may be required depending on the desired final pH. Specific use rates will vary due to wa ter quality variability (pH, alkalinity, hardness, etc.). In general, well water typically requires more product due to naturally occurring mineral content, whereas surface waters require less. For precise pH adjustments, test the spray solution with a pH meter or indicat or strips. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS Shake well before using. Fill spray tank ½ full of water and begin agitation. Add products to be used as directed by pesticide label instructions, or in the following sequence: (1) TOMAHAWK II, (2) Dry flowables or water dispersing granules, (3) Wettable powders, (4) Flowables, (4) Liquid Solutions, (5) Emulsifiable concentrates, (7) Surfactant. Continue filling spray tank with water u nder agitation. Continue agitation until spray solution is completely mixed. Continuous agitation of finished spray is recommende d. If spray solution has been allowed to stand, thoroughly agitate and remix before application. It is recommended to apply spray solution within 36 hours of mixing. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Do not store near heat or open flame. Store in original container in a cool dry place. Storage: Store in original container away from children, animals, foods, feeds and seeds. Handle in accordance with Precautionary Statements. In the event of spillage or leakage, soak up the material with absorbent clay, sand, sawdust or other absorbent material. Scrape up and dispose in accordance with Product Disposal. Product Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at a n approved waste disposal facility. Container Disposal: Triple rinse (or equivalent). The offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or incineration, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning .
