MEETING MINUTES Dodge County Youth Hockey Association March 8th, 2017 – Events Bar & Grill – 7pm
Present Board Members: Mike Hoff, Steve Rogne, Melissa Stagman, Todd Hammel, Ryan Knudson, Kristi Dick, Dan Dale, Eric Ellinghysen, Jessica Nierman, Steve Klomps, Derrick Gordon, Matt Gauthier, Jessica Nierman, Brent Smith, Terry Lulf Absent: Jeff Lamb, Jesse Preston Guests: None Called to order at 7:05 pm 1) Treasurer’s Report & Approve Financials. Motioned and approved. 2) Approved Prior Month Minutes. Motioned and approved. 3) Oversight Group/DOH Update –goalie clinic done. 4) Gambling Update (Eric, Mike H) – We’re gambling at Bears Den and have a routine in place. Motion to approve expenditures. Approved. 5) Upcoming elections a. Send out email – April 19th at 7pm in Events. 4 directors and secretary and treasurer and webmaster and registrar, Learn to Skate coordinator b. Where to hold - at Events. Melissa to check with Tony. 6) Cashing of volunteer deposit checks – motion to cash 0%, assume 80% and above are OK and review all those in the middle. Parents have until April 19 th to pick up or they will be shredded/cashed. Motion and approved. 7) Helmet stickers reimbursement (Steve K) – $680.40 needed to reimburse Steve K. 8) New Business a. Pay coaches – will request from Jeff Bolin b. Motion for up to up to $200 for to have a PWC banner. Approved. c. Auditing needed for gambling. Need two volunteers from board. Eric will email board more info. d. Tony would like to do hall bingo. Table until Erick knows more. e. Derrick will plan a date for equipment returns
