MEETING MINUTES July 20th , 2016 The mee ng was called to order by President Kerri Zschach at 6:37pm. Roll Call: PRESENT – Keri Zschach, Patrick Graziano, Tracy Miranda, Lauren Walsh, Chris Simpson, Megan Humann, Colle e Campasano, Dan Ciszek, Phoebe Weitzel, Dan Rossi ABSENT – Phoebe Weitzel (excused), Dan Rossi (excused), Megan Humann (excused) Attendees: Eric Scott, Barry Woodrow, Jim Bafia, Eve Adams, Vanessa Eddy
President’s Address (Keri Zschach): ● AHAI report ○ Had a day long AHAI mee ng in June. A lot of good informa on was given (rules & ethics, by‐laws, etc.) ○ Coaches seminars ○ IHOA ■ Reffing seminars have been posted ■ Need to be 14 by 12/31. ○ There will be a new AHAI portal system. ○ There was a er 2 session to reword the choicing rules. ○ AHAI is helping with ice contracts this year. ○ AHAI is s ll cracking down with aggressive penal es. ● Fall informa on will be up by the end of the week. ○ There will be early birds registra on discount again. ● There was a NIHL President’s mee ng. NIHL wanted to bring back the mite division. It was very informa ve. Basically the program was the same as the past. We have decided to keep our kids in CUHL. ● NIHL’s new board has taken their posi ons. ● The calendar has been updated with tryout and condi oning dates. Approval of the Mee ng Minutes (Lauren Walsh): Kristy McDonald mo ons, Chris Simpson second. Unanimous approval. Treasury Report (Tracy Miranda): ● Applying credits to accounts from the summer. ● We will have stuff from the auditor in August. Tracy has been making the changes required by the auditor into the system. Development Coordinator (given by Keri Zschach): ● This is week 3 of the summer program. Fall will start a er tryouts. ● If anyone has pants that you would like to donate for kids that cannot use the rental gear pants. VP of League Affairs (Dan Rossi): ● Spring League mee ng ○ We need to decide between now and December whether or not we want to s ck with the league. Secretary/Registrar (Lauren Walsh): ● Will be a ending AHAI registrar mee ng in August.

Coaching clinics have been posted on USA Hockey’s website. Everyone will need his or her new USA Hockey or AAU registra on number.
R & E (Chris Simpson): ● Not much going on since it is the summer. ● Will be bringing up some changes in the future from the AHAI mee ng. Director of Fundraising (Megan Humann):

Director of Marke ng (Patrick Graziano) : ● We have some contact with the park district regarding this upcoming year. ● Are se ng up a date for 9/11 for Pink Heals to come out. Tryouts will be over. The exact me will be announced later. ○ There are s ckers in the office with the jaguar logo and a pink ribbon. ○ We would like as many Jaguars in their jerseys in a endance as possible Director of Communica ons and Technology (Colle e Campasano): ● Tryouts and condi oning is uploaded. Registra ons should be coming back soon. ● S ll working on ge ng the monitor replaced due to the water issue in the office. Park district should be Ice Scheduler (Phoebe Weitzel): ● Condi oning and tryouts have been added to the calendar. ● Scheduling so ware is up for renewal. ● Wai ng on ice schedule from canlan Member at Large (Dan Ciszek): ● Will take over the Porter Scholarship CUHL Rep (Eric Sco ): ∙ N o report Equipment Manager(Barry Woodrow): ● Helmets have been repaired from RG for free ● New repair kit is in the office. ● ADM jerseys are ordered and almost done. ● In House jerseys ○ Can we pre order 4 colors and have them all ready to add the names and numbers. This would make turnaround faster. ■ This year we will not put names on jerseys since kids are switched around from team to team. We will order 15 jerseys per team and have them pre numbered. ● RG will be here for jersey sizing day on Monday. Manager Coordinator (Kim Parr): ● No report Old business ● By‐Law change
