Minutes for AYSO Area 1N Call to Order An Area monthly meeting of AYSO Area 1N was held on May 15, 2017 in Nuevo. It began at 6:44pm and was presided over by Erick Bennett, with Vickie Brittain as note taker.
Attendees Area members in attendance include: Erick Bennett, Daniel Diez, Andrea Aguilar, Chris Call, Ana Diez, Brooke Blackmoore, and Zeke Paletta. Guests in attendance included Rob Hurt, Dennis Raymond, Corbin Brittain, Vickie Brittain, Pric Brittain, Kelli Hackett, Tom Lancaster (AYSO United) and Forrest Pitts.
Approval of Minutes Approval of minutes from February and March meetings. Brooke-1st and Daniel 2nd.
Reports Asked for an email about referee issues in the U16 and above division. Tom Lancaster from AYSO United spoke about the program. First year in both Riverside and Chino Hills. He also said they would help run any training programs at no charge. Discussed the age groups and fees of $1500 for the year. The goal was to try and keep kids in AYSO versus going to other programs. Spring Select was discussed. Fall registration, budgets and regional assessment programs were discussed. NAGM reminder in Newport Beach June 23-25. Add the amendment for 19U for this member year. Erick will write the addendum and send out to the participating regions. Trying for a Referee Admin meeting on June 6th or 7th. Information will be sent out by Chris Lingenfelter. Zeke indicated an issue with the intermediate coach course and was unsure of when we could hold one. He will need help with the teaching an finding a location.
